PLEASE NOTE: All skaters/players must be registered with USA Hockey. When a skater/player is registered, you will receive a Confirmation Number.


  • Learn to Skate: Once your child has gained the ability and confidence on skates and expresses an interest in playing hockey, then the WFSC will guide them back here to WYH for our "Learn To Play" hockey program. Dates/Times for LTP will be announced at later time. 

  • Learn to Play: For kids just learning to stand up on blades and skate

  • Mini-Mites: This program is an in-house, fun introduction to the game of hockey with an emphasis on skills: stops & starts, edgework, and puck handling. 

  • Mites: Ages 8 and under.  The travel program for our youngest players.  Multiple practices and 1-2 league games most weeks (35 game league schedule).  No checking.

  • Squirts: In general, ages 9 and 10.  Multiple practices and 1-2 league games most weeks (35 game league schedule).  No checking.

  • Pee Wee: In general, ages 11 and 12.  Multiple practices and 1-2 league games most weeks (35 game league schedule).  USA Hockey Rules on checking.

  • Bantam: In general, ages 13 and 14.  Multiple practices and 1-2 league games most weeks (35 game league schedule).  Full contact checking.

  • Midget: High school ages, half season.  Checking.‚Äč
